When my family and I were moving to Tennessee, our son was around three months old. It felt like a big, slightly scary adventure. We had lived in Michigan for six years. My parents were an hour from Lansing. I knew—or at least it felt like I knew—every park, lake, city, and bike path around. We had close friends we loved.
This song was one I listened to to gear up for the move. The band is from Virginia, but I felt like the song was about Tennessee.
